Natural Playscape
Unlike a traditional playground in a box, our playground is integrated into the environment. Tunnels were made of landscaping, slides were embedded into the hillside, and natural materials were used. The toddler area is to the right of the dog park area at the Main Entrance to the park. The other components are located to the right of the Dedication Wall, and are near the existing picnic area. The BIG WOW Slide is on the large incline on the back side of the picnic area.
The Foundation raised $250,000 for this project and spearheaded its completion.
